The beauty of the handmade.
Batik is an age-old resist-dyeing craft where molten wax is carefully applied by hand or with carved wooden blocks before the fabric is dyed.
The wax protects selected areas from absorbing colour, revealing intricate patterns once removed. As the wax naturally cracks, fine veins of dye seep through, creating the signature crackled effect that makes every batik piece one of a kind - a celebration of craftsmanship, imperfection, and the beauty of the handmade.

All shirts are relaxed-fit for all-day comfort. The size you usually wear will give you a more fitted look. For a relaxed, oversized fit, choose one size up.

For batik shirts
Wash care

- Wash separately for colours, in cold water
- Gentle hand wash

These care instructions are recommended to help your garment stay beautiful for years to come.
During our own wear and wash tests, the shirt performed well in a regular washing machine. You may notice a very slight colour release (around 2%) just during the first wash, which is completely normal for hand dyed and handcrafted fabrics.
After that, the colour remains stable through regular washing and even heavy perspiration, while retaining its richness over time.

To avoid the hassle of exchange, please refer to the size chart before placing your order to get the perfect fit. We would be happy to help you out with any queries regarding sizes or making your purchase. We only accept returns/exchanges if the product received is damaged. If you wish to return or exchange a product, DM us or write to us at saesui.in@gmail.com with your order details and reason within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving the order.
Dispatch time
We operate on a slow-fashion basis with limited quantities and sizes. Orders will usually be dispatched within 3-7 days if the product is in stock.
Delivery time
Standard delivery time is 5-11 days and may vary based on location, shipping method, national holidays, and unforeseen circumstances. Tracking is shared once generated.
